  1. I'm surprised Alex still remembered something from back then. Actually, I used to be someone who couldn't really trust other people either, wandering from place to place until I settled down here in Kerning City. I figured this city would be no different from anywhere else.

  2. But the people here were different. Everyone seemed to do their own thing, sure, but somehow, being around each other, we ended up learning to respect one another and figuring out how to survive. When Alex first arrived in this city, I saw a bit of my old self in him. So I just taught Alex what I'd learned, that's all.

  3. Thanks to you, I'm remembering some old memories I hadn't thought about in a while. Anyway, tell Alex I said thanks for the gift, and that I'm looking forward to more good times ahead!
